News Richard Pak Jimmy Kets Jimmy Kets has been awarded 12/3 the Nikon Press Photo Award for 2008 , it is the second time he gets this price. The 26th of april, the Ludion Edition of Jimmy Kets will be avaliable at the finissage of the Las Vegas Blues Expo. Following the expo at Stieglitz19, there is an expo at the Fotomuseum Antwerpen. The book Volkscafes in Vlaanderen will also be out in April Jimmy Kets is presently preparing his expo in OSAKA , Japan. He will show work of his Brightside publication and his latest work Volkscafes. Jimmy Kets was as only Photographer Laureate for the YOUNG ONES AWARD at LINEART. His work is on display untill the end of March in Ghent at the LIJN 3 expo. Elke Boon Elke Boon will take part at the Photobiennale du Condroz , 1 - 30th of august at Marchin (Belgium) Elke Boon has been selected to show her works at Photoespana 2009. This prestigious festival takes place in june 2009. In the latest issue of ISEL, there is a major interview with Elke Boon. Elke
Boon is present during the Nachten at the Singel the 7th and the 8th of
november with her group Mary and Me. She also produced a theater show
with Dolores Bouckaert : HONGER . The show is the 26/3 at campo, in
Ghent. In March, the Stitches and Images expo will be on display at the Camera Oscura Gallery in Madrid Alfonso Brezmes Works of his latest series have been selected for the most important Photo Magazine in Spain : EXIT , january issue 2009. This artist will be displaying his work at the Caprice
Horn gallery in Berlin in september in a group exhibition .His work
will be on display at Estampa (Madrid) fair and Photo Miami . Alfonso Brezmes has been selected as winner of the AREA.ZINC.COM competition in september 2009. Alfonso Brezmes will attend the ARCO expo in Madrid. In the latest issue of Exit , the magazine of the Photography Museum of Antwerp, photographs of the series of Riverbed are selected. Ben Murphy, which will be our second exhibition end of october , has been shortlisted for the Sovereign Art price from a list of 500 entries . His work is now also on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum. It is this series that will be exhibited , the Riverbed series. A special series of 2 UN prints are avaliable at 300 euro A production of the "humans" of the Riverbed series is in preparation. Aurore Valade Aurore Valade, a new artist at Stieglitz19 will be on the Stieglitz website in the next weeks. This young Photographer from Marseille makes beautifully mis-en-scenes from daily scenes in France. More info follows. Untill 26/9 there is an expo of Aurore Valade at the Alternative Gallery in Miami . From 2/9 - 12/9 expo of her work in Skopje. 223 Thomas Wunsch Thomas Wunsch will be exhibiting his works "Coverfoto's fur ECM" at the Gallery of the Jazz institute at Darmstadt. The main picture of the ECM catalogue is presently with the work of Thomas Wunsch. Xu Peiwu Xu Peiwu will be exhibiting his work during
the Olympic games as part of China Contemporary Image exposition at
Beijing. Only a very selected group of Photographers are asked to
